Aviano MHS Cadets Get Up-Close Look at F-16 Operations and Support Teams
Cadets from Aviano Middle High School’s AFJROTC unit, IT-951, spent Nov. 19 gaining hands-on experience with multiple units across the 31st Fighter Wing during an immersive career exploration event.
Upper-class cadets observed munitions loading on an F-16 before practicing how to operate the weapons loading vehicle. Under supervision, they also assisted in loading a bomb onto the aircraft, providing a rare chance to experience real-world maintenance operations up close.
