Art Show
The Art Department is celebrating the Artworks of our many dedicated students until June 1st!! 

Library Books Due
All books are due back to the Information Center on May 26th.  

Chromebooks - Missing sleeves or power cords
If students are missing their Chromebook sleeve or power cord, they need to be replaced by the week of May 25th.

Chromebook Pick-Up
Chromebooks will be picked up for Seniors on May 26-27. Chromebooks will be picked up for grades 6-11 on June 1-4th.

Work Due 
All assignments are due during the week of June 1, as directed by your student’s teachers. Please encourage your student to check in with their teachers before June 1 to confirm specific due dates. **With the exception of Seniors, whose assignments are due by May 27th.

Graduation: Graduation will be held on June 4, 2026

Parent Reminder
Please remember to check ASPEN regularly to help make sure our scholars are turning in their assignments on time. Your support at home makes a big difference, and staying updated on ASPEN helps us work together to keep every student on track for success!

DoWEA School Dress Code

Students MUST wear:

  • Tops with sleeves (sleeveless tops/dresses are permitted for school sponsored formal events such as prom)
  • Solid clothing (not transparent or translucent) that fully covers the top and bottom from armpit to mid-thigh
  • Shoes (shoes must be safe for the school environment)
    • Bedroom slippers shall not be worn, except for school activities approved by the principal
    • Open toe shoes with a strap across the heel are allowed

Students CANNOT wear clothing with:

  • Language or images promoting violence
  • Language or images that depict, promote, or advocate the illegal use or sale of drugs, alcohol or tobacco products; violent conduct; curse words; pornography; that contain threats or expressions which are violent, discriminatory, lewd or obscene; or that advocate or promote any other illegal item or activity or the use of same
  • Derogatory speech and/or imagery that targets groups based on race/color, ethnicity/national origin, sex, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or any other characteristic protected by law.
  • Headgear that obscures the face (except as a religious observance or health purpose); clothing items with hoods attached can be worn but must not cover the head

* Teachers/courses can require certain attire as part of the curriculum (for example: physical education, culinary) that may include specific dress

* DoWEA issued athletic uniforms and athletic practice attire outside of the DoWEA school dress code is permitted when worn by participants during athletic practices and sports events
