The DoDEA Student Information System (DSIS) Family Portal will be unavailable from Wednesday, June 25 at 2:00 pm ET until Thursday, July 10 at 2:00 pm ET. Parents and students will not be able to access the system or register students during this time. Registration will resume when the system is reopened on July 10.

Dear Saints Family,

 

As we head into the winter season, our sports teams are gearing up for an exciting weekend! Let’s rally behind them and show our Saints spirit:

  • Basketball will be having their first Home Game against Vicenza. Friday’s game starts at 6:00pm and Saturday’s game starts at 10:00am.
  • Wrestling will be in Vilseck.

Saints Spotlights:

  • Congratulations to Mrs. Victoria Ray for being chosen the Wyvern Teacher of the Month.
  • Congratulations to 2 of AMHS JROTC Cadets, Ily Zamora and Arvin Ablao for being chosenas the Flight Academy Selects. The Air Force JROTC Flight Academy is an approximately 8-week summer aviation training program, conducted at partnering universities nationwide. Upon successful completion of the program, students are awarded a Private Pilot's Certification.
  • Congratulations to Mia Davilla, one of our seniors, as she was selected as the first-place winner for the 2024-2025 High School Essay Contest for the Theta Rho Chapter of Omega Psi Phi, Fraternity, Inc.  The essay's topic was "What impact do you believe that Social Media is having On Mental Health and Why is it Important to Address this issue? Her essay submission competed from a field of entries gathered from DODEA High School students across Italy and Germany. Her win secured her a $500.00 scholarship, with the potential to compete for up to $7500.00 total worldwide through the organization. This is an annual contest hosted by the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. every Fall season. Way to go Mia!”
  • Congratulations to Grant Hyer, Matthew Hyer and Porter Nardone, who were all selected for the First Chair in the Europe Jazz Festival. Grant will be playing the Bass Trombone, Matthew will play the Baritone Saxophone and Porter will play the Alto Saxophone.

Friendly Reminders:

  • The Sophomore Class will be selling Holiday Grams: from December 11-17 @ Lunch in the school lobby.
  • There is NO SCHOOL on Monday, December 16th: It’s a Teacher Workday
  • SAC Meeting: Join us for the School Advisory Committee (SAC) quarterly meeting on Thursday, December 19, at the Information Center, starting at 3:00 PM. Your participation and input are vital to the success of our school community.
  • Christmas Market: Celebrate the season at our Christmas Market on Friday, December 20, in the school gym from 1:40-3:00 PM.
  • Lost and Found:  Our Lost and Found, located near the foyer or the office, is overflowing! Please remind your child to check for missing items by the end of the school day on December 17th. Unclaimed items will be donated next week before the holiday break.
  • Stay Hydrated: Encourage your child to bring a water bottle to school daily.
