AMHS Weekly Newsletter January 10, 2025

Dear Saints Family,

Thursday, January 16th is a FULL Day of School and Last day of Quarter 2/Semester 1

We would like to remind you that Thursday, January 16th, will be a FULL Day of School and the last day of Quarter 2/Semester 1. Please note that January 16th is NOT a half day, so it is important for students to attend school for the entire day. We encourage you to remind your student to complete all their assignments and make the most of this final opportunity to submit work for the quarter.

Thank you for your support!

DoDEA Teacher of the Year – Europe South District

We are excited to announce that the nomination period for the District Teacher of the Year (TOY) for Europe South award, a prestigious award that honors our district's most dedicated and inspiring teachers, will start on January 6, 2025, and end on February 14, 2025. The DoDEA TOY Program recognizes teachers who have made a positive difference in their students' lives, schools, and communities.

Parents, you are invited to nominate a teacher who has made a significant impact on their child’s educational experience and deserves recognition. Whether the teacher has helped your child overcome a challenge, fostered curiosity, or supported the achievement of their goals, we encourage you to share your story.

Students, you also have the opportunity to nominate a teacher who has inspired and positively influenced their academic journey. If a teacher has played a pivotal role in helping you overcome obstacles, igniting your curiosity, or supporting the pursuit of your goals, we welcome your nomination.

Please visit the DoDEA TOY Website at http://www.dodea.edu/teachers/teacherofyear.cfm to submit your nomination and complete the online form. Do not miss this opportunity to express your gratitude and appreciation for a teacher who has made a difference!

Thank you for your participation and support of this important program. We look forward to receiving your nomination!

We have noticed an increase in students not adhering to the school dress code. Please ensure your child complies with the dress code policy before coming to school.
